life can be a circus and you can be a clown
you can have happy face or one with a frown
with it circus ring big and very round
it can make you happy or drag you to the ground

it can make feel like a lion in a cage
make you roar with anger fill you up with rage
it can make you fly on its life trapeze
make you feel so scared you begin to freeze

life can be a circus and it can entertain
or it can get you down and your life can drain
like a circus show when finished it has gone
like the show of life your show must go on
