A Sinner's Image
We point out the sinners quickly.
When many saints only acting out an image.
A pretense that we all perform.
Once a saint gets exposed.
Then many pretend to be shocked.
Others pretend to be amazed.
While the sinner doesn't say a thing.
But offer some wisdom and advice.
Those without sin should pass the first stone.
But then that require ALL of us to point those fingers at us.
Strange to accept and hard to admit.
That those we never thought would measure up to be anything.
Can always point out the strangest of things.
That perfect child.
That son, daughter, sister or brother.
Was the sinners many never thought would.
Or could.
But did.
They let lust control their soul.
Now we know that they were no better than us.
Just hiding behind an image to fool all of us.
