When The Dog Days Are Over
When you call me baby
I feel my pressure rise
My blood starts to boil
And I come alive inside
Tell me that you love me
But do you really mean it
I know you love my body
But do you love my spirit?
The way we move together
It’s like we’re meant to be
We fit together like a puzzle
I’m a lock and you’re the key
Let me hear you say it
I’m the only one for you
Know my heart can’t take it
If it isn’t true
Those long summer nights
With skin against skin
Is what plays out in my dreams
Those nights you made my world spin
But all of that means nothing
If you think I’m just a phase
Because I love you: mind, body, and soul
And will want you for the rest of my days
