Just another family holiday
with extra time to burn

through the dining room

crack the wine
bring in the trays
followed closely
by greedy dog eyes
forks clank
glasses clink
chit-chat bubbles
smiles deepen
as dessert
makes its spectacular entrance
the video camera catches
