I stand at the fair
and watch all of the people there
I see a small girl walk by
as she lets go of her balloon
and watches it fly
I walk up to her and ask
"Your balloon, you let it go, why?"
She takes those big blue eyes and looks up at me
she grabs my hand and whispers quietly
in my ear
so no one else can hear
I don't quite understand what she said to me
She just simply stated "To set it free"
