Lost count of these momentary lapses
When my mind decides to rendition,
A reflection worth procuring
From the depths of an endless abyss.
Lost in a whirl of rising smoke
I plead the incoherent fools to take their leave.
The world needs introspection
Not silent admission.
Looking beyond the horizon
I humble myself to the infinitesimal universe,
Feel so inconspicuous on a grand scale of events.
These eyes of mine crave for the wonders
Truly searching for the grandeur in living.
These eyes of mine seek a purpose,
The purpose of being.
