indigo
stalking flies a stormy sky
sordid secrets spy
glistening paint a ghost of cold
remnants of the night
reaching out to golds of bliss
to blinking drips of rain
disconcerted play of hues
string stories once again
reaching stony silences
and traces of your mind
hopes in garb of rebel tide
sweep our indigo sky
her love is impish playfulness
her sight a wink of time
her mind a breathing weave of wind
the hungry lease of life
one blushing guilty stare of heart
promises a lie
thinking thinks a sound of it's
music in her smile
although the nights shall tranquil be
and moons a brooding grey
cloak of curses hides my muse
etched on every page
when land is dust at heaven's feet
when sea is all but salt
as diamonds thrown away to stars
her words will burn them all
