I am suffocating in your library house
persons occupy each corner
each with his own set of headphones
restless teenagers eventually napping
melancholy faces in whisper
the unspoken rule of noiselessness
to you, consideration matters more
than togetherness, and as long
as I offer to cream your coffee
you have found the perfect marriage
meanwhile,
our neighbors laugh loudly below us
and we think they are the odd ones
