do troubled waters have a bridge that you can walk across
take your troubles with you and in the water toss
drown them in the river leave them far behind
bury them for good take them from your mind

can you start again on the otherside
do worries disappear as from your mind they slide
is there such a bridge that we can walk across
a river where your troubles cease and worries you can toss
