My body is a temple,
Wherein somebody defaced the walls,
Tore down the statues,
And ****** on the altars,
spraying black paint everywhere.
And - ah me!
I was overwhelmed by it all and I let it get to me, I did nothing.
Nothing at all, for the longest time

But one day, I had a glimmer of hope
And then I had two
And I had more and more
So I got up, and I cleaned my temple,
repaired it,
And - oh!
How it gleams in the sun, now
