I have sutures up and down my body, inside and out
They're keeping me together while I heal
But they've been there a while
And I just want to know
How long will it take to heal?
I'm itching to be free of my confines
And live my life,
Without being afraid I'll rip open old wounds
And watch my happiness drain out of me

...Hopefully sooner rather than later
