There was a time my heart wasn’t as cold.
Once I owned a heart of gold.
Till one day I came to see,
Hearts of gold break too easily.
I only have too cheeks to turn,
Both were black and blue before I learned,
A heart can break only so many times,
Before it’s time to draw the line.
Life’s a ***** and it’s time to be
Just as ****** as life treats me.
So I learned to bite as well as growl.
No longer do I throw in the towel.
There is no more tears for these eyes to cry,
...Cause Life’s A ***** And So Am I.
