Part of the group
Am I? or Am I not?
Feeling like an intruder
For differences ought
Not to be the case
But it is as I fear
I am not like you
Even though I am here

Part of the group
Shall I ever be?
I am not like you
Nor do I care to be
I see cultures
Rich to learn
You see bridges
Ready to burn

Part of the group
I shall not beg
I'm better without
This fight I will not egg
Moving onto more moving
People that I know
I say "I love you"
As I go

Part of the group
Will you be in mine?
We do not judge
No color; no kind
Just be here
Share with me
All the things
You learned to be
