I am going on a 7 day Cruise on the open seas
I am looking forward to feeling that ocean breeze
I will be playing all of kinds of games
I may have to be tamed
Taking in the ship’s pool
Being me and acting like a fool
Sailing sailing miles out in the ocean
I will be so relaxed as if I am under potion
As I am on deck and I head for the bar
The bar certainly is far
I am having my champagne toast
Now I am on the deck and getting a tan and perhaps roast
Right about now I feel no pain
I am staggering back to my cabin
I hope nothing is going to happen
Just my luck
I could be going overboard
Then I would be saying, “Oh my Lord”
The fishes dining on me
Ships miles away, I will not see
Luckily I made it back to my cabin
Thank God nothing actually happened
So anchors away my friends and stories to tell later of where I have been
THE END
ANCHORS OF THE WAVES
