i have a little budgie he likes to talk to me
flies around the room and sits upon my knee
sings his little song softly in my ear
a lovely melody with every note so clear
he likes to ring his bell roll is little ball
up down his ladder he just loves to crawl
he is my best friend and keeps me company
i just love him so and he belongs to me
