A dull roar in our ears
Life goes on for eighty years
Cities of glass, castles of stone
Wars of flesh, blood and bone
Unrequited love, riddled with heartache
More than any human could take
Friends or foes, allies or enemies
Songs with righteous melodies
When we receive all that we want,
Then no more dreams for ghosts to haunt
