I’m sorry I ever doubted you
For now not even a punctured tyre would dampen my spirit
I literally love life whilst I’m living you
These days cycling through the city I feel like I belong
And I’m privileged
By the prestigious and historic buildings that I encounter on my route
Each one its’ own reason
And corresponding people who represent it’s intent
The city shows an eclectic display of cross matched personalities and purpose
The game is to guess whose disguise defines them
And who wishes they worked differently

I thank the Thames for the bridges
As I pass over and view the landmark tower
A structure whose presence I envy
And who tourists flock to see
Not even tourists blindly stepping in front to gather perfect snapshot souvenir
Can bother me today
I relish the feeling that this place I’ve made home
Is somewhere so many people save toward just so they can see
It impresses them but it truly treats me

It’s days like these I love you stronger
The sun shining a blue backdrop to the cityscape
Not even traffic can temper me
I love you and the life your offer me
For now I’m where I’m meant to be
