If I write your name on a cigarette and smoke it
am I blowing you away
and into the air
or am I breathing you in
 even closer than before

you’re under my skin
and that’s the thing
with you and cigarettes
I can still smell it
when it’s over
i crave the taste of a smoking metaphor
