What if you woke to find me gone
My life's final song still left unsung
The noose tied tight around my throat
Teardrops surround, near the letter I wrote.

Would you care, would you dare, to read the words
The ones, before, you never heard
As I screamed them in silence on deaf mens' ears
Ignored by you through all my years.
