"To walk on wet sand with thundering waves exploding at our side.
Feeling it's ocean spray shower us as we stare into the sun, and the sky.
Boats in the distance with a fish at the end of a fisherman's reel,
his friends showing support as they scream, and cheer.
We both know that a story of the catch will take place tonight,
as they sit around the fire pit on the beach in the moonlight.
The punchline of a joke will bring laughter to the air,
with two lovers making out by the cliffs, and whispers of their friends saying.
"Look. Over their."
As the moon starts it's decline, bidding everyone a good night,
the flaming ashes that once were in flight, are too nowhere in sight.
We leave in pairs holding ourselves firm and tight,
as we rush to our rooms to make love, close our eyes, and call it a night.
All weekends come to an end as does the beach, the sun, and the sand,
but the memories will last forever, with a smile, and a kiss, as i planted a Rose in her hand"...
Weekends can be great, or some can be a disaster, but "To Plant a Rose" in the hand of your love can set off a wonderful future!!!
