She sit's there in the dock
see her smoking funnels
and her streamlined sleek

God I can't wait to board her
knowing she will ride such stormy weathers

She is a ship of dreams
such a classic form
from stem to stern
I 'm honoured to give her a turn

She looks so pretty anchored there
man I want to sail in her now
yet as a captain of many
the only way I will sail in her
is if she gave me pity

She is a vessel I much admire
she sets my heart on fire
this most wonderful thing
her name on my red lips
my sweet dream liner
