It was a momentary meeting
In which I confessed all
When prompted by his probes
So much was shared
In a shortage of time
Knowing it would no further go
I let him read my words
He an active audience to his subject studied
Lay no judgment upon my sole
In our temporary togetherness
We spoke as trusted friends
Covering topic acquaintance need not know
He knew me well for that moment
For we shared past and present
And played with ponderings of future
With no pretence to ever know
Because the moment passed
And we moved on
About a guy whose name I cannot remember. But who was actually one of the best people I met in 5 months of travel around the world.
If you met me and played cards with me in Che Lagarto in Lima on 10th/11th September let me know!
