A dozen roses on her nightstand
Seem so uneven
they came around two-ish
I watch as the family members hug and kiss her

Staring at the old hag in the chair
She stares back at him
~

is this what  love look like
As it die faster than yesterday flowers
Where have all the flowers gone?
  When she said
It’s a boy
