Poems
Feb 2014
I left my heart in New York.
I left New York to travel the world,
gain a better sense of myself,
change those around me.
I left New York to make a difference,
help the sad and lonely,
spread love, show forgiveness.
I left New York selfishly,
to follow my dreams,
make them reality.
I left New York,
my coffee now cold,
next to my heart,
I miss my home.
When I do leave, my heart will stay behind.
