A drought rules with free reign
Even over the most fertile plain
All is sacrificed to the terrain
Any clarity you cannot obtain
Resources you cannot sustain
The desert wont be influenced to change
Your yearning will be shared with your pain
Days take from you what little remains
Each grain of sand needs the sky to rain
If it doesnt the Earth will not refrain
From saturating herself with the blood in your veins
