i saw the news today water by the score
coming from the heavens rain again once more
tides so very rough  and wild as they can be
sweeping overland  covered by the sea
people using boats so they can get around
now theres only water gone now as the ground
people leaving home getting out the way
its no longer safe and there they just cant stay
if and when it stops we really just dont know
we just have to hope  as we watch the water flow
