I've lived a dream
Now let me live a memory.

I desire, and I long for the past.

The present is lonely, always fleeing,
Leaving people and good moments so quickly;
Leaving only memories behind to regress over time,
But the past never forgets, holding tight to the smile on her face, and her eyes as they gazed into mine with love;
The present has forgotten her, but the past never will,
All those perfect memories; all the precious moments,
Dead in the present, but live in the past. Always.
