He walked on razors
in the bowels of Hell,
lived through traumas
best kept unsaid,
they were bone-chilling.
It was the memory of her eyes
that burned in his mind
that kept him alive.

They seared love into his retinas
& he could see the light
in all kinds of darkness.

When you see
eyes like that,
it will be a feeling you cannot explain,
but you'll know it
deep inside your bleeding heart.
They say romance overcomes all dangers,
especially if it's real.

You gotta believe that's true...
