The clock is ticking
And you still have nothing to say
It won't matter if your life is wasted
Because you have time in bed to lay

These winds were your guide
You hoped that they would help you lift
But they wouldn't and you knew it
They just told you Go inside and drift

Don't rest your eyes! they said
Because they wanted you to try
But all you could do was give up
And sit down to cry

They don't see you cry.
