who knows
we hardly seem to care to meet
eachother anymore

the down streets are so low
with the nothing absolutely nothing
going on

except for stupid political raving
and rantings

and liars simply doing their thing
and hoping
to get the show onto tee vee

or young lovers coo cooing so bitterly
about the fact that they love eachother
without love
but they end up happy cause they can brag
about being so unhappy

such a slow down almost stopped day it is
