By moonlight I scream my verse
knowing virtue is my curse
windows open curtains blowing
I am piano playing and musing

Thinking in waves of silence
I am a hollow reed
a pond of light
that you may bathe in

And when I die
I will be streaming kindness
and the frogs in my pond
will shed tears for me

I should not be forgiven
for being one of black dress
I am proud of the fact
that my discipline never fractured

To the end of me
to the end
poetry truly
is my friend
