What will you do in October
will you wait for leaves to fall
or will you follow art in pure form
I may even write some great poetry
if I put my mind to it

I need not admiration
or the embarrassment of awesome
I just write
yet when October comes
oh yes when October comes
a poet I will be

I am not here to claim divinity
or be a better Human then you
but I will claim my love
and divine inspiration
for when October calls
by it's command I will write
