Push and pull they play,
Water crashing ashore
Bursting into foam,
A silent murmur calling,
Calling for embrace
We leave footsteps in the sand,
The waves wash the ties away,
Playing in water like we belong,
Embracing the sea, as it toys with us,
Pushing us out, pulling us in,
Swallowing the sun.
