Carry On
You were the last
Piece of my past
That had to go
So I could sow
Seeds of healing
And warm feeling.
Now that you're gone
It's like a bomb
Exploded in
My chest, my skin.
I can't seem to
Breathe without you.
The seconds pass
The pain's not as
Sharp anymore.
Up off the floor,
Completely gone,
I carry on.
