I built myself a cabin
A cabin by the sea
I found myself a place
Where my old self couldn't be

Some people sat in wonder at why I'd run away
But no, they did not see
I simply wanted closure
For a life that could not be

There's lots of world out here
This is where I'm free
So I build myself a cabin
A cabin by the sea

But in running from my life
I discovered me
