Were you born at sea like me?
Love for the ocean winds that blew;
Heart and soul of the deepest blue.

Were you born in the autumn breeze?
In the shadows of the bare branches;
Under cover of the wind leaves’ dances.

Have you seen the trees?
Have you ever felt the forest before?
The forest borne you, our Mother borne you,
And yet, and still, and even, and evermore;
Though we may try time after time,
We can never escape Her omniscient view,
And regrettably, nor Her desolation.
