Dec 2013
I can't bear
The empty void;
The stillness
Of time
When she looks away,
The trajectory
Of the fiery comets
Of her eyes
No longer colliding
Into my soul,
Like when the music stops
And you're waiting
For the next song,
But she's a mere foot away
And I wonder how
We can reconnect again,
The beams from her lighthouse
Coming around
Spotlight that I crave
That I would give anything for,
The performance of my life
But it's a downhill battle
A runway walk
I cannot keep up any longer,
And when she sees me again
I hear the applause
Of an audience;
The uproar of acceptance...
