From the temples in the west
where light was still in abundance
did the last of his order walk
how he loved this land
how proud he was
to be called liberty and freedom
he knew he would defend till dead
when terror breaks it's cover

Every part of his body was a holy prayer
when his feet touched the ground
another temple they would build
and at the battlements of mind
did they lay white roses
the morning sun in the east
knew of his coming
and smiled welcome

For he would protect all
when terror breaks it's cover
