I don't know what's up with me
for I am always chasing numbers
like it should matter
how many hits I get

I don't care what anyone thinks
don't care about me
I just hang on
like on the telephone

Why now at my end
do you treat me like a king
when years ago
I was just your thing

I hurt inside because of you
and I don't know if I can forgive you
slowly dying in this place, in numbness
as I relentlessly chase the numbers
