Dec 2013
Let us revel in these sleepless nights
And wonder out loud whether
Another millennia shall pass by
With us at the centre of the universe
Or shall shall we burn away
As a bonfire by dawn

The long awaited day may come
And there shall not be a soul awake
To watch the sun rise
Over the smoky skies
Shimmering away
As if to say

"Come yonder or don't, it's all the same
Time, like everything else
Is precious yet abundant
The ink blot sinks into paper
And stays there
Until the end of time"
