This is where night begins
by the light of the moon
pale is the land in it's glow
all seems so subdued

I watch you walk to the temple
palms seem to bow to you
as you go to worship
my temple is I worship you

I sit in the scented gardens
where once the gods did stand
and I wait for you
waiting with baited breath

You my goddess of wonder
my light in the darkness
you're touch is a blessing
by the light of the moon
