My dedication to the art
the burning I try to release
God I hope I have the time
for all I need to write

I would die for my art
and God do I so plan to
know for pity sake
I will die poetic and romantic

This is my life
this is my dedication
and I will be that creature
he who will die for his art

Even my children cry
knowing I do die
for the love of her
my love my poetry

Each poem is my baby
if anyone hurts my babies
they do by sin hurt me
for this is my dedication to this art
