My complete and utter distain towards fake people is only half of my opinion on those who wear masks 24/7
The other half is pity
They deny themselves the opportunity to be true to their soul
And that is one of the keys to living
Dawning a persona created out of the terror of outside opinions and criticisms
And allowing their true-selves become backseat passengers to this costumed being that drives them
I’m not sure what they’re after
Acceptance, I’d accept them
Social status, does that matter?
Understanding?
When they don’t even understand themselves
