Dec 2013
Her sleeve of silken web did drape over his frozen face
as she reached for the potions that for him she had made
she casts a spell of gentle healing luminosity
then with her head bowed in reverence she prayed

She asked in tears for her love to come back
back from the river dark and still, the river Styx
there had been no time when he left this realm
no time, his eyes closed and coins not fixed

So she went to the beach of mercy
and she danced on white sands of forgiveness
love was her servant and lord
and for that she would dance forever more

Her tears will never be forgotten
for that woman was a love of mine
and the tears she did shed
was justice to tears of mine
