Nothing is too complicated
nothing less and nothing more
so then, when is and has been
have swept the floors
why do I sit and weep

All is purple in my universe of matter
and what matters is not to me
cheeky monkeys throw fruit at me
from the trees of conformity
so maybe this is why I weep

I watch as the poor get poorer
and the rich get richer
all I can do is look
seeing the fishes on their hooks
that's why I really weep

I can't help changing things
I don't mind being poked and prodded
but push me too far and I will promise you
I will change history with time
that is why I weep
