Links in the Relapse Chain

I wake to the unfamiliar familiar:

The sound of snowfall

Books by Thoreau

Snapshots of a roiling sea

The stained-glass daybreak

The dizzy framework of her warm body

There are patterns in repeat:

A kiss

A reminisce

A fleur-de-lis

They

Find me

Bind me

Intertwine with me

I am winter, she whispered, I am spring

In medias res, you shall fall for me all over again
