a long long time ago in land so far away
there was an infant born who gave us christmas day
a tiny little baby in a stable lay
in a little cradle that was full of hay
three men came with gifts who travelled through the night
following a star so very very bright
they gave them to the baby and laid them on the floor
then they said goodbye and travelled on once more
this  began the start of a special christmas  day
thanks to infant who in a manger lay
