Nov 2013
I deliver mail down in the valley,
The long winding road that leads me spiraling deeper,
Into the hidden treasures of the wilderness.

As I go down,
It gets darker and colder.
Seems like the world has vanished,
Free from the chaos,
Peaceful.

The water flows freely,
Rings in my ears,
Provides a zen like show.
And I remember this is the place I go,
Everyday.

This is my job.
I am at home,
Same is the reason
Each and every home has been built.

I do not mind
Going down
Into this calm and humble place,
It's as natural as the alibi that my mind has conceived.

Alone I am,
Down here in this secret gem.
It's just another day
Delivering,
Down in the valley.
