She melts into the horizon
saying her goodbyes
she the blossom of spring

Her voice is midnight
her grace a delight
I wave goodbye to her

Back she will go
till the moon calls her
then she will appear

Without her pure light
I am truly lost
for she is my northern star

The pebbles on my beach
now shed indecorous tears
they are beside themselves

The sea does turn to lilac
it tries to calm me
yet my heart does rage

So in her wake
I do what I am asked
till daylight returns
