The Patriots
A single bomber flies by dropping leaflets
telling all survivors within this city
lay down your arms, war is lost
This last city of patriots once proud
now bend their heads and give prayers
knowing this will be the last stand
This city of marble white 4 months on
is now tainted with the blood of so many
7 million now dead or dying
We will never lay down our arms
we fight to our glorious end
whatever war machines they send
The last ravens do now depart
this now silent sad grey city
as we prepare to die, still Patriots
